PDLA Finance
PDLA Finance is an independent consulting firm based in the American Continent and specialised both in financial CFO services and providing commercial support. PDLA stands for Puentes de las Americas or The Bridge of the Americas. The bridge is located in Panama and connects the north and south American land masses.
PDLA Finance can handle the full scope of all financial aspects on setting up a business and keeping it running in the most efficient manner. From the follow-up of a statutory and a management accountancy, setting up the tax structure, towards managing the treasury and assisting in the funding of the business. The company has extensive experience in cross-border structures and working in an international context. We develop comprehensive tailor-made financial models in order to make the right financial and strategic decisions.
PDLA Finance assists companies in order to expand its activities in the American continent. We can handle the full scope of commercial support on entering the market and representing businesses. In particular for Latin American countries, our services provided include intercultural support and rely onto our extensive network in the area.

PDLA Finance was founded by Lukas Goemaere. He is a broad Finance Professional. His international career spans over twenty years with the American continent as his most specialised region. Besides having worked a great part of his career in Infrastructure, he has experience in mining, logistics, distribution, trading, hospitality, clean-tech and energy/offshore wind.

Lukas has been living in the Americas for ten years. He has an extensive experience in working with large and complicated maritime construction sites as an executive of the DEME Group. He has acted as a director in many group companies and he has been a partner representative in various joint ventures. He has successfully concluded fundraisings and M&A transactions.
Lukas is highly specialised in international financial management with a good knowledge of corporate finance, structured and project finance, accounting, international taxation and strategic financial management.

He holds a Global Master in Finance (IE Business School, Spain), an International MBA (Vlerick Business School, Belgium), two Bachelor degrees and Master diploma in Economics. All degrees have been achieved with honours: magna cum laude.

Lukas has followed a CFO course at Stanford GSB (Y2015) and the Advanced Management Program at IE Business School (Y2019). He is fluent in English, French, Spanish, Dutch and proficient in German.
